A playful, site-specific theatre experience combining breakin’ with immersive audio storytelling, putting you in control of the story.

Using headphones, you’ll follow a narrative that reacts to your choices, guiding your movement through the space as the story unfolds. Expect high-energy hip hop, dynamic performance and an interactive experience where you shape what happens next.

Zine Making

Kernow Queer Press: One-Day Zine-Making WorkshopWhere: Kresen Kernow, Redruth

Join Frosty Jam for a friendly, hands-on workshop creating and publishing a zine in just one day.

Led by artist James Frost, this relaxed but high-energy session celebrates DIY publishing and creative expression. Through collage, drawing, writing and experimentation, you’ll help create a shared publication that everyone contributes to.

No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get involved. All materials are provided, including paper, collage materials and printing.

Cornwall International Male Choral Festival 2026

Over the 1st to 3rd May, the Cornwall International Male Choral Festival returns, welcoming 45 choirs to perform across a range of venues throughout Cornwall.

In Redruth, a concert will take place at Redruth St Andrews Church on Sunday 3rd May at 7:00pm.

The festival concludes with the International Gala Concert at Truro Cathedral on Sunday 3rd May at 7:00pm.

Kerrier Open 2026

The Kerrier Open 2026 takes place at Redruth Tennis Club across three days, featuring both junior and senior competitions.

Make a Macramé Hanging Basket

An intermediate macramé workshop led by Sam Tancock from Harmony Permaculture. Ideal for those who have tried macramé before or completed an introductory session, this workshop will help you build on your skills.

Using cotton cord and simple techniques, you’ll create a sturdy and stylish plant hanger to take home. The session blends traditional methods with a contemporary finish, guiding you through more advanced knots and a three-dimensional design.

A supportive group session for children aged 8–11 who may benefit from a more flexible and inclusive learning environment. Sessions are designed to help build confidence, develop life skills and support social interaction at each child’s own pace.

Applique Tote Bag Workshop

Cost: £20 (with £5 deposit to secure your place)

Create your own unique tote bag using fabric, buttons, ribbon and more. You can even bring along a favourite T-shirt to incorporate into your design.

This fully guided session will take you through the process, from placing your design to stitching and finishing touches, with all the basics provided to help you create something special.

Man Down Redruth Fortnightly Mental Health Talking Group

A supportive, informal talking group for men to come together and speak openly about mental health in a safe and understanding environment.

The sessions are designed to break down stigma and provide a space where men can share experiences, listen to others and support one another. There’s no pressure to speak, you’re welcome to simply listen.

It’s Just a Feeling – Exhibition by Simon Bayliss

Where: Auction House, The Buttermarket, Redruth, TR15 2PP

Continues Friday and Saturday, 11:00am to 4:00pm until 30th May
Cost: Free

A new exhibition by Simon Bayliss exploring rave culture, memory and material through ceramics, video and print.

Developed in response to research by cultural historian Dr Peder Clark, the exhibition draws on archive material from 1990s rave scenes, including themes around identity, community and the culture surrounding Ecstasy.

Blending pottery traditions with influences from dance music and club culture, the work reinterprets these ideas through a contemporary lens, creating a playful and thought-provoking exhibition.
