Are you ready to roll this summer? Coach Frank is back hosting a series of exciting Summer Skate sessions that promise to be both fun and educational. These sessions are designed to help young skaters master the art of navigating the skatepark, building flow, and gaining momentum. Perfect for beginners, these sessions focus on instilling confidence and competence, ensuring that kids understand skatepark etiquette and feel comfortable using the facilities in their free time.

Redruth Skatepark is one of the best skateparks in Cornwall, making it an ideal spot for budding skateboarders to learn and hone their skills. With a diverse range of ramps, banks, fun boxes, ledges, and rails, this skatepark offers the perfect environment for skateboarding tuition. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your skills, Redruth Skatepark at East End Park has everything you need to get rolling.

Session Details

  • When: 25th July, 8th August & 22nd August
  • Location: Redruth Skatepark, East End Park, Redruth, Cornwall, TR15 1PR
  • Time: 10am – 12pm
  • Availability: 6 spaces available per session

What to Expect

  • Level: Beginner
  • Focus: Understanding lines, building flow and momentum, and learning skatepark etiquette.
  • Age Range: Primarily for children, but enquiries from those outside the specified age range are welcome.

What You Need to Know


  • Read the terms and conditions before attending. (See below)
  • Wear comfortable clothes and flat-soled shoes or trainers.
  • Bring a drink to stay hydrated.
  • Arrive 5 minutes early to put on your pads.
  • Helmets are compulsory.


  • Book any equipment you might need for the session.

Beginner skater criteria: Individual may have never skateboarded before. Skater may be capable of pushing around, rolling up a transition and rolling back down ‘fakey’ (backwards) or doing simple flat ground tricks i.e. a Pancake Flip.
