We are now settled into the Civic Centre in Alma Place, there’s lots to do in the Redruth Library and it’s more than just borrowing books.

  • FREE Wi-Fi and computers available to use (Library Card required – also Free)
  • BorrowBox – a new, exciting App that offers eBooks, newspapers,, magazines and audiobooks to borrow, as well as learning a new language, Driving Theory Test and more! Click HERE to download the App.
  • Redruth Home Library Service – Your Local Library at your doorstep for those members of the community who are unable to access the Library. Find out more by emailing
  • Book Club Bundles – A group ticket that lets you borrow books for 12 weeks so you can all read together. We can help you set up your own group, find a local group or reserve a set. Click HERE for more information.
  • Multiple weekly clubs and groups to join such as Rhymetime, Lego Club and the Veterans &Family Hub. See more information below.

Keep checking our Facebook page for information on school holiday craft activities and special events throughout the year. If we don’t have the book you want, don’t worry, we can request it from another Cornwall Library, ready for a pick up as soon as possible.

Accessibility

There are toilets on site. Please ask a member of staff for access.
The nearest Car Park is Fair Meadow. Directly across the street is a bus stop. Further up Station Road you can find the train station.
