Wow the first four months of this year have come around very quickly! We’ve been blessed with some wonderful spring days so far and this Easter weekend looks the same. If you’re out and about with the kids, friends or family there’s a couple of activities we’d recommend discovering.

Redruth Library and Information Service

Lego Club Saturday 16th April

Come to Redruth Library between 10:00am – 12:45pm on every third Saturday of the Month: It is completely FREE to participate and runs on a drop in basis.

Easter Excitement Wednesday 20th April

Join us for an exciting morning of Easter crafts and stories from 10:30am. This event is free but does require booking via Redruth Library reception.

Camborne and Redruth Lions Easter Egg hunt
After 2 long years away, the Easter Egg Hunt is back! The event, as always, is due to be held at Portreath Beach on 17th April (Easter Sunday). Under the circumstances, we have decided to limit the number to 300 children. Registration will be on a ‘first come – first served’ basis and will start at 1pm. The digging will start at 2pm. The entry fee remains just £1 per child.

Heartlands
Have an Easter Egg hunt running every day up until April 24th, it costs just £1, and details can be found here: heartlandscornwall.com

Gwelan Tops Adventure Playground
Open over the Easter holidays Tuesday 19th to Friday 22nd April 11am – 4pm. No need to book but registration forms are required for new children and are available at gwealantops.org

Free Half Term Activities
The Time2Move Holiday Programme offers fun physical activities, games and wider activities plus a meal for all children. Activities will be taking place across the Easter holiday from Monday 11 April to Friday 22 April 2022.

All children aged 5 to 16 are welcome to attend and it is completely FREE for children that are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals. Find out more at: cornwall.gov.uk

Mosley Heritage Museum
Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th, Monday 18th April – Train rides, toys, refreshments and family fun from 10am – 4.30pm. Visit and join for further updates: Facebook @Moseley Heritage Museum

Has free family fun sessions available- We’ll have a different craft each week, colouring and a special new trail. Can you find Shem the hamster?

A High Street Sound Walk in Redruth
