Bringing communities together to do the things that matter most. Providing people with opportunities to live their best life. Become better off and to make better sense of the system. Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change provided crisis support, job search, learning and skills training; social groups, cooking courses, wellbeing activities and allotment schemes. Additionally, they help people into education, training, or employment. They offer coaching and skills training, qualifications, and equipment, and by brokering relationships with local employers to provide routes into employment.

The state of living on recent years has highlighted the deep challenges that many people face in meeting their basic needs. Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change assists people in crisis and those experiencing hardship through its advisory service. Social prescribing and social activities at our community buildings in Redruth and St Austell provide support for anyone experiencing social isolation.
Redruth Community Larder
Our community larder at The Elms, Redruth is open for drop-in food collections every Friday from 1-4pm.
Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change offers food and support at times of need. Our regular larder offers fresh vegetables, fruit, and surplus food donated by our suppliers on a weekly basis.
People experiencing crisis can access a full range of items, including dried, tinned, and packaged goods, as well as, toiletries, hygiene products, and baby items. Each household can use this service twice in any month and six times in a 12-month period.
If you are experiencing crisis, you can also access our free advisory service for support and practical help through our weekly drop-in sessions. The community larder receives funding from the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
Redruth Warm Hub for Winter
People can visit one of our safe, warm and friendly environments on their own, or with a friend, and talk to others over a free hot drink or maybe a free hot meal. They can enjoy one of our activities or our team can assist them in accessing specialist advice and support regarding housing, energy bills, and job-seeking.
Get Advice
You may be finding it hard to manage changes to state benefits payments. With CN4C, we can help with Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and Universal Credit appeals and provide guidance on what to do if you are at risk of homelessness.
Elsewhere on our website, you can find information about employment support. This includes personalised coaching and mentoring support to help you to overcome barriers to education, work or training.
