Come and join the fun at St Rumon’s Gardens, Redruth for the Georgian Fayre on the Eve before Murdoch Day, June 16th, from 7pm to 9pm.
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Redruth 200 years ago, when it thrived as the richest square mile in the old world.
Experience traditional food, music, dancing, and unique entertainment as we celebrate the finest aspects of Georgian society! We highly encourage dressing up to honour the era of William Murdoch, invention, innovation, and so much more.
During the evening, be dazzled by our Georgian entertainment, sample Georgian food and drink and to try your hand at some dances from the time with our house band and their own dancing master. But don’t forget to watch out for our pickpockets and free marketeers.
