Murdoch’s Georgian Fayre

Event date: 14th June
Time: 6:00 pm
Duration: 3 hours
Location: The Redruth Drapery, TR15 2SF

Change of venue: due to the forecasted rain the Georgian Fayre will now be in the Redruth Drapery.

Come and join Cobweb Tours and their Friends as they celebrate the life and times of William Murdoch.

Come and join the fun at St Rumon’s Gardens, Redruth for the Georgian Fayre on the Eve before Murdoch Day, June 14th, from 6pm to 9pm.

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Redruth 200 years ago, when it thrived as the richest square mile in the old world.

Experience traditional food, music, dancing, and unique entertainment as we celebrate the finest aspects of Georgian society! We highly encourage dressing up to honour the era of William Murdoch, invention, innovation, and so much more.

During the evening,  be dazzled by our Georgian entertainment, sample Georgian food and drink and to try your hand at some dances from the time with our house band and their own dancing master. But don’t forget to watch out for our pickpockets and free marketeers.

All dressing up is greatly encouraged…especially if it’s late 18th Century in style.

Tickets are £5 or what you can pay on the door.
