Our Festivals
Murdoch Day – Saturday 7th June 2025
- Murdoch Day is Redruth’s big day and really gets right to the heart of what the town is all about – its heritage, creativity, industry, but most of all community. This celebration honors the legacy of William Murdoch, the pioneer of coal gas lighting, while also highlighting the present-day strengths of Redruth. In addition to our regular food, craft, and charity stalls, we are seeking businesses and organisations that sell or develop innovative products and new technologies.
Redruth Fun Day – Saturday 30th August 2025
- Redruth’s Fun Day is all about family fun, with a day jam-packed with activities and games for all ages to participate in. We’re particularly looking for food traders and interactive stalls with games and fun competitions.
International Mining and Pasty Festival – 20th September 2025
- The International Mining and Pasty Festival is a three-day celebration of Cornwall’s mining heritage. The second day, known as Pasty Day, focuses on international food, music, and of course, pasties! In addition to our regular stalls, we are seeking food vendors who can offer a variety of hot and cold foods and drinks, particularly those that reflect the culinary traditions of Redruth’s twin towns: the USA, Mexico and France.
Redruth in Lights – Saturday 29th November 2025
- Redruth in Lights is the annual event that marks the beginning of the festive season in Redruth. We are looking for vendors to sell both hot and cold food, as well as locally made gifts for those beginning their Christmas shopping.
