Bikers Brew – named after a love of motorbikes – is one of the latest shops to set up in Redruth. They sell a delectable range of indulgent drinks from coffee to gin, and some spiced rum in the middle. The business was created by partners Rob and Kelly, who after running a motorcycle dealership for years, decided to set up their own brand of coffee and drinks. Each of their beverages is close to the heart – Kelly’s self-confessed coffee addiction feeding into her love of the drink, and her father’s fondness of rum inspiring her to create her own.
It took quite some time to develop their recipes for the gin and rum, with months of research and consultations with many distillers to ensure they had the perfect taste. And not only did they want the flavour to be perfect, but also the ethics. All of their products are packaged in either glass bottles or fully compostable bags, to be as climate-friendly as possible. Additionally, all the ingredients used are West Country sourced. Both Rob and Kelly have poured in lots of love and effort to make sure they have the best quality drinks they can, and their hard work seems to be paying off, as the Redruth crowd welcome the business with open arms.
Bikers Brew has its HQ in Redruth town centre -but also sells products at the Town Markets and online via their website, bikersbrew.co.uk. Keep an eye on it, because there’s something new coming soon!
