Library Clubs

Redruth library hosts a variety of regular clubs that meet on a consistent basis, providing a space for community members to engage in different activities and share their interests.

Get Crafty

Join Redruth library on the first and third Wednesday of the month from 10am to 12pm for crafting and a cuppa. There’s no need to book, just come along join in the fun, and remember all of their activities are free.

LEGO Club

LEGO Club takes place every Saturday between 10:00 and 12:45pm at Redruth Library. It is completely FREE to participate and runs on a drop in basis. All ages and abilities are welcome, parents and guardians and encouraged to participate as well.

CoderDojo

CoderDojo is a coding club that takes place at Redruth Library on the first Saturday of the month between 11am and 1pm.

All Children aged 7 to 17 years old are welcome!

Please bring:

  • A laptop. Borrow one from somebody if needs be. It’s recommended that if you have a laptop or can borrow one that you bring this with you. There are a few computers available at Redruth Library however they do need to give access to other borrowers.
  • A parent! If you are 12 or under, your parent must stay with you during the session.

Rhymetime Sessions

Redruth Library’s much loved Rhymetime sessions take place every Tuesday at 2:00pm and Friday at 11:00am throughout the year. Only taking a brief break in August and at the end of the year between Christmas and the New year.

Children aged 0 – 5 years of age and their parents/carers are invited to join the Redruth Library team each week for singing and reading.

You do not need to book and sessions and FREE!

Book Club

Every fourth Thursday of the month the Redruth Library hold their ‘In House’ book clubs.

If you’re interested, feel free to just come along! It is the best way to get involved and see if it’s for you.

  • The AM Group meet at 10:30am
  • The PM Group meet at 2pm

Writing Club – Adults

Have a passion for writing stories or poetry? Then join the Adults Writing Club at the Redruth Library every other Tuesday from 11:00am – 12:30pm.

Sessions are based on set titles and themes including Last resort, Obsessions, Missing, Stolen, My Little Angel, Sea Story, Losing you and No Place to Hide.

New attendees are welcome! Simply drop in at the next session if you are interested.
