Tolgus Tracks Silent Auction

Event date: 5th August
Until:
Time:
Duration: 2hrs
Location: Market Hall, Redruth

Join us for a silent auction in Market Hall, Redruth as we raise funds for local charities. We’ll be auctioning off our Tolgus Tracks canvases; following on from our interactive game we created earlier this year, as part of our St Piran’s Day celebrations.

The family fun trail leads participants around the town centre and surrounding area that celebrates the vibrant and innovative creativity of Redruth; using the iconic mascot of Redruth – Tolgus the Lamb. Various Tolguses are in 10 of Tolgus’s favourite places around Redruth with the ‘real’ Tolgus taking centre stage at the wonderful Library to mark the beginning/end of the trail. The trail is hosted on the Adventure Lab app using Geochaching and was created to work with local schools and artists in Redruth.

To capture the fantastic talent, we have produced 10 small canvases, which we will be available by auction of sealed bids on the evening of Friday 5th August from 6pm to 8pm. As part of the exhibition, we’ll be displaying the original Tolguses and they’ll be a chance to meet the artists at the event. The fabulous Beats and Roots café will be open in the Buttermarket until 8pm with food and drinks available to purchase.

Pop down for an informal and fun silent auction to raise money for a local charity – details will be listed in the event discussion on Facebook.

If you can’t attend on the evening and would still like a piece of the artwork, you can email your bid and desired canvas to Alice at marketing@redruth-tc.gov.uk  Bids to start from £5.00 please.
