St Andrew’s Arts Festival Week: 18th-23rd June

Event date: 23rd June
Duration: 18th - 23rd June, 2022
Location: St Andrews Church, Clinton Road, Redruth, TR15 2QB

After an enforced break of two years St Andrew’s Arts Festival are back with a programme full of wonderful events and activities that celebrate the creative arts in all their forms. From exhibitions, walks and talks to workshops, quiet reflection and interactive displays there is something for everyone to enjoy.

This year their theme -“A Sense-ational Time” – offers an opportunity to explore the world through all of our senses. Local artists, craftspeople and schools have created works in various media to express their individual take on the Festival theme. Exhibitors include photographers Jason Hoole-Jackson and Claire Wilson, glass artists Mel Louis-Smith and Patsy Lawrence, wood turner Dave Doble, textile artist Cat Rowe and members of the “Crafty People” group.

As usual there is a packed programme of events including two guided walks led by local historian Linda Beskeen, dance and art workshops, and our ever popular “Poems, Pasties and Pints” night led by author Tamsin Spargo. Look out too for pop up events and activities occurring throughout the week. You can access these by visiting their website or by following them on social media.

Finally, do join them across the week for our delicious lunches, refreshments and homemade cakes!

The Arts Festival team look forward to welcoming you during the week and hope that you will gain as much enjoyment from the festival as they’ve had in its planning.

Unless stated otherwise, events are free. If you would like to make a donation towards the cost of these events there will be an opportunity to do so on the day.
